I'm trying to locate where the blower motor resistor is on the car?

It should be right in the blower housing, next to the blower motor.
Our manuals don't list an Almera, but from looking it up it is a compact along the lines of the Sentra in the US. Most auto manufacturers don't stray far when it comes to component locations of this type.
