Magna transmission issue

Hi I have a 2005 Magna TL 5sp auto. Today it seems to have stuck in third gear and the speedometer has stopped working and all electronics on dash have stopped. Is this a sensor problem somewhere?

If the speedo has stopped working, check the vehicle speed sensor. That could be causing both problems.
