2005 Town Car Vanity Light

I wish to replace the vanity light that is next to the sun visor mirror with LED. (see picture below). I took off the cover to the light. Inside there is a very small bulb, but there is no room to get one's fingers in there to pull out the mini-wedge bulb.
I do not know if the whole plastic console comes out of the visor or not.
Any help would be appreciated.

yes it does. the surround has clips that hold it in. very carefully depress these clip to release it. you can break these easily so be gentle with prying.

No luck. I looked around edges of surround with small screwdriver and could not see anything that looked like clips holding it in.
It is very tightly held in the visor.
