my throttle body sensor went in my 2005 s type jaguar. have to get my throttle body replaced. my mechanic said i might have to get it done at the dealership cause i might have get it set with the cars computer is that true

If it is Throttle Position Sensor faulty that can be replaced without replacing entire Throttle body.
May need second opinion

i have to get the entire throttle body replaced my cars at the dealership but there tring to kill me for $2100. i found a mechanic that works on jags and thats what he told me

Suggested price on TB is $1550 so the rest labor? did they provide written estimate?
