Code U1000

and recently the EDC and Slip lights came on with the check engine light. I powered off the car and the EDC and Slip light went off but the check engine light remained on. I took it in to get the codes at AutoZone and got a code of U1000 I feel everytime I press the gas the car jolts. I was thinking it could be the throttle body but I'm unsure if that would cause the check engine lights to come on. Any ideas?

That code is a communication code. It means that one of the computers did not communicate on the bus network.

Almost everything I could find uses an Infiniti scan tool for diagnosing this issue. It is usually a harness/connector problem.
