OBD code P0741 Torque converter ckt performance.
Car drives fine. Can this issue be fixed with a transmission flush and service? Does it mean the transmission is ready to die? I know older Odysseys had transmission issues but the 2005 and newer were suppose to be better. Does the torque converter need to be replaced?
Thanks

That's for the circuit not the torque convertor itself Its going to be the wires solenoid or computer. Usually the solenoid. You have to do the diagnostics does the code reset as soon as you clear it an drive?

Saturntech9,

I cleared the OBD code. It drove fine for about 12 miles as I did some errands, gentle highway speeds and in town driving. The ECO light came on occasionally as it should. When I got back on the highway I accelerated to gain speed and the check engine light came back on. I drove steady but the ECO light never came on.

I checked the code and the P0741 code was back.

What is my next step?

Thanks

So id you clear it jump on the freeway will the code reset right away?only reason I ask is if the doesn't set like that good luck finding it.All the trouble trees only work if the problem is constantly active.

saturntech9,

I reset the OBD and took it for a drive and it did not code. It was a quick test drive but it is not consistently tripped.
