ignition switch replacement

Can you just replace the cylinder lock only on the car listed above LX model? Or does the entire ignition assembly need to come out and be replaced on the column?

You are not able to replace just the cylinder for the ignition. I am attaching the process from the manual on how to replace this. Also, a picture of the replacement part.
