my battery seems to be overcharging, when i first heard a noise under the hood i found out it was the battery when i checked the fluids in the battery there was none, i bought a new optima battery then i heard a whistling noise and my battery was flexed outward and it was really hot so i thought maybe my alternator but when i called a autoparts store they said there is no alternator for a 2005 honda accord hybrid. so i dont know what to do now because the battery seems to be overcharging and it gets hot after driving for like 2 and a half hours or more

first, there is an alternator.

you need a special tester for the hyrid to verify its failure. you need a shop not a parts store to help with this as a hybrid has different controls and is very dangerous for you to attempt any repairs like this.
