secondary air injection system

The secondary air injection system is located under the car on the drivers side at about the transmission. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Hi, My Envoy has a defective secondary air injection - can I purchase parts and repair myself and if so, how do I do it?

yes you can purchase the parts but make sure you install a new air diverter valve also.

What parts do I need and how do I install the new parts and the valve and do you know the approximate cost of parts?

is the secondary air injection and the air diverter valve easy to install and what is approximate cost of parts?

check valve is around $140.00 I dont show a listing for the diverter, call your local dealer and they can help you with that part. Yes you can do it yourself, just need afew wrenches and some WD-40 for the valve

Ive got a question regarding the secondary air injection solenoid valve. I had my check engine light go on and it came back as a secondary air injection solenoid valve. Any help on where I could pick one up and where is it located on the vehicle? Any feedback would be excellent!!

The valve is located at the right side of engine

my check engine light keeps coming on and when hooked to a diagnosis it says secondary air injection malfunction, it has happened a couple of times !! how do i fix this problem my self???? please tell me what to do

what was the code?was it a p0410?start with the air pump check valve on the side of the block,they get water in them and get rust and corrosion in them. check that first.
