heater running all the time

2005 ford mondeo 2.0 diesel
the interior heater comes on full blast once i turn the ignition key twice(before turning engine over)and i can not switch it off or turn it down.as the heater buttons are not lit or working.even when i start the engine it is the same.

thankyou for your reply.
i have the relay out and at first glance it looks fine.
i guess it could be sticking.
i am at present,trying to trace one down to see if it will fix the problem.if the change does not have any effect,should i then check the heater blower ressister?

Check the blower switch this one feeds power to the resistor

Hi there my friend.
I received my new heater switch today,and just
Finished fitting it.the heating is back to it's
Happy self.fantastic
The old switch had green fluffy stuff on and around
The circuit board and connectors.
Do you know why that happened?
Anyway I want to thank you for the spot on
Info that you gave me.
Thanks to you I resolve the problem quickly
And cheaply.
