my cars doors wont shut they bounce open when its really cold outside. i have tried de-icer and it doesnt work what could cause this

Try spraying the latch with a good penetrating oil. Chances are the grease that is on them is getting cold and not releasing.

Make sure the door latch is in the open position before trying to close the door.
