when i turn to left there is a clicking or grinding sound i have changed the hub bearing already

when i turn my escape left or right is has a clicking sound. now i changed my hub assembly and bearing and it is still doing it. what else could it be. because i was going to change the drives side also but it still coming form the right. and my abs and 4x4 lights r on still abs stays on and 4x4 flashes.

sounds like a failed outer cv joint. the grease either leaks out or hardens up and does not lube the ball bearings causing the noise.

is it better to change the whole drive shaft or just the cv joint

get the whole shaft. got a lifetime warranty and easier to change the whole unit than just the joint.
