Hello, i have a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT 2.0 Automatic and the other day my car wouldn't go into any other gear but 2nd gear. It would go back to normal if i turned off and on the car. but then it would start with the same problem. by the time i got back to my house the car wasn't going into either reverse, drive, or any other gear. i'd have to rev the engine a couple times with the transmission on drive in order for it to catch any gear and that would be 2nd gear. the car would drive for a bit on 2nd gear then slip off the gear and it wouldn't go back. There's also a weird ticking sound coming from under the hood. is it just a sensor? or is it the whole transmission?
