when my automatic transmission shifts 80% of the time it shifts real hard an my check engine light comes on,the code should cam sensor,so replaced it but transmission started shifting hard what do I need to do

Besides a defective sensor, there could be a problem with the wires going to it or there could be a timing problem related to the crankshaft position sensor. There are a lot of cam sensor codes. Some get real specific, please check out this guide to help us get the codes so we can fix the problem.
