Is there a reason you're asking this? Chrysler has been famous for decades with good parts interchangeability. Even if your two starters look different and are from different manufacturers, the issue is the mounting bolt holes and the two cables. The bolt holes are in the transmission bell housing. The starter has nothing to do with the engine. Any other starter will also bolt up. If there's any difference at all, it's going to be how the smaller solenoid wire attaches. That could be with a push-on terminal but most commonly it will be a small bolt-on terminal.

This is rather disappointing. Every single starter on every rear-wheel-drive Chrysler product has been on the left since at least 1960, regardless of which engine it had. This is the first time I've heard of one on the passenger side, and I understand why you would ask. In the past it has always been the GM engineers who couldn't make up their mind where to put things.

I looked up both starters, and it looks like they both have the same mounting ears and will interchange in that respect, but the cable connections are on different sides so they won't hit the engine and are accessible after the starter is bolted on.
