My old starter sounded like it didn't have enough juice to crank over and the battery had enough volts so I thought the starter had bad brushes I replaced it and the new one seemed fine then all of a sudden my motor will start shaking bad and when I shut of the car the new starter clicks but sounds like it don't have enough juice again and my battery has enough volts and I don't have any check engine codes what could this be?

Measure the exact battery voltage with a digital voltmeter. If you find near 12.6 volts, suspect a bad connection on one of the large cables going to the starter or engine block. If you find closer to 12.0 volts, the battery is good but discharged. At 11 volts or less, suspect a shorted cell in the battery. It will still be enough to make the head lights appear normal but it won't be able to supply the starter with enough current. At five years old, it's about time for a new battery.

When the engine is running, you can check the charging system by remeasuring the battery voltage. It must be between 13.75 and 14.75 volts. If it is low, the battery will not be recharged while driving.
