looking for fuel filter

Where is the fuel filter located on a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer Ls? I have read it is in the fuel tank then I have read that there is one on the frame. So I need to know which it is.

On most newer vehicles it is indeed in the tank. For Chrysler vehicles in particular, other than diesel trucks, you will never solve a running problem by replacing the filter. You're more likely to have a leaking hose connection or corroded quick-connect fitting, so most filters are in the tank now.
