2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer Engine sputtering and stalling.

For past few days when driving down highway the engine as best I can describe sputters & cuts out. Last night it began stalling or has lack of acceleration at time especially on hill or at stoplight. Kind need to know where to start with it, whether could be spark plugs or something with fuel system.
