I have a 2005 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 liter, 2 wheel drive. I replaced the tires and all tpm units. prior to the replacement of the tpm units I was receiving a error message on the dash "service tire pressure monitor". So I replaced all 4 tpm units. I am still receiving the same error display message on the dash. This message comes on only occasionally. The tpm's were all reset at America's Tire store.

to the best of my knowledge no...stated that the life span of the tpm's are 4 to 6 years, and that it is probably a low battery problem with one of the tpm"s unit, and if it does not show up when they reset the tpm"s while they are replacing the tires.... that they would need to replace all the tpm's, and that should solve the problem. They said that they had no way of isolating just one bad tpm.
