struggled to get the car started again

My Chevrolet Spark just cut out while driving, and the 'check' light came on, then i struggled to get the car started again. What can be the problem?

Couldn't get the car started for a long time, just swing and when eventually it started, i could only drive a short distance before it cut out again. There is enough petrol in car as it happened after i threw in petrol.

What you need to do here is have the computer scanned for OBD2 codes, there's a problem within the engine management system that caused the light to turn On, this is your starting point of diagnosis
