My truck after running it for short. Or longtime. Smells like its overheating.
Open up the hood no leaks tank has liquid in it but I smell like its overheating. The temperature 195°. And it stays there. But I smell like something is overheating. The only thing I found was the overflow line coming off of the reserve tank for the coolant. Was just curled up and tucked behind the tank. I don't know if smells coming from that are not. I'm going to take a trip I just don't want to run into any problems down the road. If you could help diagnose the problem deeply appreciated. Craig

it may be the curled up hose was not draining correctly but have a pro pressured check for internal leaks like ahead gasket. might be spraying some fluid out and getting the smell
