TO THE OFF POSITION UNTIL BATTERY IS DISCONNECTED. WHY? Car battery has been going dead. Found that switch could not be turned off until battery is disconnected. Also, now the engine will not crank. After attempting to crank the battery must again be disconnected in order to turn switch to off.
