glow plugs

I have been told two out of five glow plugs need changing on my volvo v70 D5 estate diesel, how difficult is this as again I've been told they are very delicate and if broken can cause heaps of problems and lots of money to bore out in the region of £500.00.

HELP!

If you are cautious they will screw out with out a problem, but if they do snap off this will be a nasty problem, also you should be replacing all the glow plugs at the same time.
