Why does my door ajar light stay on?

So here is the situation. I have a door ajar light on, which prevents dome lights, power antenna and clock to operate normally. At first I thought it might be a blown dome light fuse (as it seems all of those items are running off of the same circuit) but that didn't help. The 15A fuse blows the second the new fuse is put in. Even with the ignition off. I've tried tracing where I could have the short but no luck. I check all the dome lights, trunk light, power antenna, even the door ajar sensors in all four door and I ran out of options. Any idea on how to fix this issue?

Is this the new body style S40 or the old body style?

What fuse are you talking about also? What you should do is remove that fuse and on the side where the current passes too and not where the power is at, with an ohm meter probe that wire and the other lead attach it to ground. You should see the short there by seen continuaty. Get the circuit wiring diagram and start unplugging all components that that fuse protects and any other stuff on that wiring diagram. When unplugging components look at ohm meter to change to infinit reading. Once it changes you have found the faulty component. Plug it back in to verify and unplug it again to see it change. Hope this helps. If you need a wiring diagram let me know and tell me which position that fuse and where that 15A fuse is at?
