My 2004 control panel Brake lights and sometime Engine lights are on. I have had the brakes checked the sensors on the wheels changed and the engine checked, nothing seems to get the lights off. Lately the odometer stopped recording mileage when the Engine light is on.

Most likely fault will be in the brake control module. It will post false wheel sensor codes, cause trip and mileage to blank out at times. To replace the control unit would require you download software also so you will most likely need to take it in to the dealership for this repair.
