i recently did the rear brakes on my Passat: rotors, pads, calipers. Bled them fine and went for a test drive. After a minute, I started getting a rhythmic dull thumping sound from what sounds like the FRONT passenger side. It sounds like it happens with each revolution of the tires, and increases with speed. I can't imagine the brake job had anything to do with it, but I'm also mystified that it would start so soon after. The thump wasn't there before.
I haven't gotten too far into it yet. The lug nuts are tight, the transaxles were replaced a year and a half ago, but haven't looked at the boots yet.
I'd be grateful for any ideas.

Check to see if the caliper is hitting the inside of the wheel?
