04 VW Beetle why does caution light and abs light come on while sometimes trys to stall.Cleaned cable ends didn't help

An error has been detected in the system and a scan tool is required to retrieve the trouble codes to proceed with diagnostics and rectification.
Before doing that, check the brake fluid level in master cylinder. Low fluid level would cause the indicators to turn on.
The stalling should be a different problem which should be engine related. It could be a fault with the idling system or the system requires cleaning.
