Firstly the battery was draining quick and discovered it was due to a faulty door light, took to garage they replaced with cheap part and ordered genuine part which they said would fit when arrived. They then checked the battery and charged it overnight, they said the battery was fine nothing wrong. Since then over a month later the car has had to be jump started twice with a flat battery. Can you help or give advice a few people have mentioned check the belt or starter motor others have said just check the alternator is working ok?
Regards
Nick

we don't have any inof on these so i'm giving you general answer from what you describe. First charge your battery and have it checked, like load tested and make sure it has a good charge. If it is over 4 yrs old then scrap it and buy a new one anyhow as you are on borrowed time with it. It should read at least 12.4 volts with a good charge and tested with a digital ohm volt meter. Then have your charging system checked. if you are getting 13.5-14.0 volts to the battery then you should be ok. If you are having a drain issue with the battery go to the repair part of this site and it will tell you how to check for a battery drain with a test light.
