No crank and no check engine light

I attempted to clean the intake with some seafoam. While the engine was warm I removed a vacuum line to the throttle body and sucked 1/3 pint into the intake. As per instructed i turned engine off and waited 5 minutes. When I went to start it, no crank... CEL was not lit upon key to "ON" position, only seatbelt and oil light on.

try pulling the spark lugs and see if it will turn over. depending on how fast you duped the sea foam in it may have hydrauliced the engine seizing it if it turns over with plugs out reinstall them and clean as much oil off of them as possible, like with chokecleaner and let it dry before reinstalling them. then try to start it.

No luck when spark plugs removed. Same symptoms... no crank.

I jumped the starter and it turns over fine but still no luck starting car. My scan tool can not link with computer. Any other ideas? Thanks for your help.

I'm sending a schematic of the starting system. check the fusible link which has a red arrow going to it. that is a smaller wire connected to alarger one. it will kind of obvious if it is burnt up. if not check your neutral safety switch and starter relay, which the shcematic will tell you where they are.

Update: I found the cause of the problem... it was the 15amp fuse to the ECM. Thanks for your help.

Further Update: The car blew another fuse on my way to work this morning. AM2 fuse 15amp. I tried to replace it with a 30amp spare fuse I had and the car still wouldn't start. I'm having it towed to my work and going to try to look at it tonight. Any suggestions?

Something is causing a short in the circuit and you need to go through everything associated with this fuse.

ABS,
Charging,
Combination Meter
Cruise Control,
Electronically Controlled Transmission.
Engine Control,
Ignition.

Update: Replaced blown AM2 fuse... nothing. Replaced blown 30a Main fuse.... nothing. Noticed AM2 blown again... replaced... car runs! I let it run for 45 minutes at 2000 rpms. Seems to be good to go so far.

You definitely have a short somewhere and it is intermittent. It is going to come back anytime.
