hi guys:
it is me a gain with my land cruiser boiling coolant during warming up?
i need to know where the location of thermostat ?and if it diverts the coolant from the engine to the radiator ,i would not have a boiling coolant in the radiator if the thermostat was closed . i also noticed that the upper part of the shroud is missing .could that be the reason for overheating during warming up?

Upper shroud woul not cause overheating during warming up, it would affect high speed or prolonged driving. Follow the upper radiatir hose to the engine and the connection is the thermostat housing. Removing the housing bolts would allow you to get at the thermostat.
