I have a highlander with approximately 123,000 miles. I love it. It has been a great vehicle. But I do have a problem with the heat. It blows hot, then after a little while it kicks down and blows lukewarm to cold air. I live in Utah. And it has been unusually cold this year. I also did have a problem with the lights on the dash came on, then they would go off. I read that someone else had the same problem. It is the speed control sensor(something like that) and we took into the dealer, they cleared it and found the problem. It was corroded, they cleaned it and ot only cost about $60.00. Just a little tidbit for someone. But is there an easy and cheap way to fix the heater?
