When I was driving I had trouble with the car maintaining speed and when I was in gear it was revving like I was in the wrong gear even when I was in 5th which is the highest gear I have. After I stopped the car I smelled a burning smell and when I went out to start the car again, it started but wouldn't move no matter what gear I was in. It was like it was in neutral even when it was in gear. Does this mean the clutch has been burned out? I would like to know so I know what I'm up against also can you give me an idea of the cost to replace the parts I made need. I live in Manitoba Canada and would like a general idea as to cost. thank you

It sounds like you need a new clutch. The kit usually includes a clutch disc, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. In the US, expect around 700.00. I have no idea the cost in Canada.
