I have that car for over a bit over a year and it recently started to piping out from 5th gear, since then I stopped using 5th gear, I heard it's a common problem with toyotas, any idea how to fix it cheap? The car worth about £1200 and I don't want to spend thousands of pounds on it, Toyota would fix it for £1067 but it's far too expensive, is it possible to change only the 5th gear without changing the whole gearbox on this car? Or what should I do? I also heard it might need to refill with oil and it be fine, how do I do that and how can I check the oil in the gearbox?
