Hi i have also got my parents car doing the same i have cleaned the throtle body and EGR Valve and pipes, i reset the EGR light and it came back on after about 15 mins drive and 4 start ups. i am now going to change the EGR valve but have also developed an eratic throtle since i have cleaned the Throtle body and when you take your foot off the throttle the revs seem to rise before they fall on its own? any help would be great.
