Hello,
When I shift into reverse at slow speeds I hear a kind of "clunk clunk" noise. I had it checked out at Chevy, but they couldn't diagnose the problem.

Any idea's of what this could be? The only known problems I have is that the A/C does not work, and when turning the heater on, there is a hissing noise on the first two settings (not on high), and the washer fluid spray in front and rear. I think I am savvy enough to know that the washer fluid does not affect anything :)
Any idea's would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you for your response, but I would never shift my car into R while driving forward. I'm at a stop, I shift into reverse, while I'm driving backwards I hear this clunk maybe even a pop sound. I don't hear or feel anything abnormal when just at a stop and shifting. It doesn't ALL the time, but 9/10 it does it 2x in a row.
Thanks

I have never tried shifting one of those in reverse while moving so it could be normal.Reverse gears are straight cut meaning there not like the forward gears like 1st 2nd etc.Where there designed to shift into them while moving.I have driven a ton of them iam a factory trained saturn vue tech.If it drives and sound normal aside from shifting into reverse while moving making that clunk then i would make sure i didn't do that anymore.I never shift into reverse while moving in a manual transmission or automatic transmission vechile.
