ABS module is stuck in on position as a result it is drawing on battery even when van is not running. Of course this has resulted in dead batteries if not driven for a few days. Rather then replace the unit ( $2,000) I would like to merely disconnect the electrical from it. My mechanic says that's not possible. Is he correct? If not, how easy is this to do?

you can unplug it but your abs won't work. these units can be rebuilt to stop whatis happening instead of the 2k. Lot cheaper but you will be without car for a few days. look online.
