Which way does the air cleaner filter go into the assembly for 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor---my neighbor took hers out and got a new one, but doesn't know how to put it back...Maybe there's a picture Thanks, Lou

it should only fit in one way.
If you still have the old one, you can see which side is dirty, and that is the intake side.

The side with the frame goes toward the engine. See pic
