engines running rough

You can hear a fuel knock coming from engine, also saw catalytic converter turning red. WHILE coming off interstate slowing down heard noise from engine felt no power and engine running rough and knocking noise.

engine is missing which is why the converter is glowing.

the noise may be another issue. it could be a valve related issue like a rocker arm. you need to have this checked.
