dipstick location

Hello,

This Mountaineer does not have a transmission dipstick. Instead, it has a plug that allows checking and addition of transmission fluid.
The plug is located on the transmission pan under the driver side of the vehicle.
It is a T30 torx bit, that you will need to remove the plug. If there is excess fluid, the excess amount will spill out.
To fill it, you will have to use a pump. Basically, add till it back flows excess fluid.
