Will the EDGE Insight CTS Monitor work with OBDII on 2004 Mazda Demio/Mazda2/Verisa?

Will the EDGE Insight CTS Monitor work with OBDII on 2004 Mazda Demio/Mazda2/Verisa? I get the impression the CTS Monitors are only programmed with software for American-made cars, is this the case? Or do the monitors work with generic OBDII data?

Sorry for taking ages to respong. I just bought a 2004 Mazda, and i was planning on getting one of those CTSs. I just wanted confirmation (from a professional) on whether or not it would work before making the jump.
