2004 mazda 6 altenator

This is for 6i. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove the under cover. Remove the right side splash shield. Turn the center of the tensioner pulley clockwise to release tension to the drive belt. Remove the drive belt. Remove the generator duct. Disconnect terminal B wire. Disconnect generator harness connector. Remove generator heat insulator. Remove generator. Install is the reverse of removal.
