2004 Mazda 3 Repair coolant reservoir and radiator

I've been driving my car with a cracked coolant reservoir for almost a month. I patched it until I could get a new one. My radiator is now leaking. I will be replacing both this weekend. Is there anything I should check when replacing these. i.e. sensors and such?

Might as well do a full coolant flush and replace the thermostat at the same time, but nothing else to check doing this job.
