Transmission control solenoid A malfunction

I have a 2004 mazda3 2.0L sedan with 86000km on it.The AT warning light went on recently so i took it to a friend to scan the code. I got the P0745 code which apparently is a pressure control solenoid A malfunction. When the light is on and i put my gear in reverse (and only in reverse) the car jerked hard, however when the light is off it shifts normally. The light goes off when i drive for a while (when the car is not cold).

Is it safe to drive the car with this problem? can it break
uin my transmission if i don't fix it immediately? what is the average cost to change this solenoid? and what's the Part No. if i want to order this solenoid online?

Yes it is never good to drive with the transmission malfunctioning. You will need to raise the car safely before you begin the repair.

My transmission has lost 1st and 4th gears. Car still runs but am worried to use it and maybe make the problem worse. Have already replaced set of shifting solenoids which showed up on the trouble shooting tool that plugs into the dashboard and replaced the sending unit. Anything else that can be done short of a replacement? Car is not worth the cost of that.

What trouble code were present and after replacement of the solenoids etc, was there any changes in the codes? Were the wiring circuit tested?
