The blower or air blows out, however; the heat does not get hot and the air does not get cold. Also, I notice that the controls have stopped working too. Can you advise?

Thanks

It sounds like you blower motor or fuse is out. To confirm the problem we need to do some simple tests so you can get your car fixed.

First lets check the fuses.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

There is also a relay that needs to be checked as well

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

If the fuse and relay is okay then let's check for power at the blower motor this guide will show you how.

Below are some diagrams that will help you.

Please let us know what happens.

Hi there. So, the fuse work fine, the blower is blowing out air, its just that the heat will not get hot and the air will not get cold. You think it may be a control switch? I noticed also that the light on the dash for the heat and air stopped working. But, the fan blows out air just fine- just no heat or no cold air. Thanks.

Okay this sounds like a temperature blend door actuator is not working. Here is a guide to show you what you are in for when doing the job.
