Over the weekend my 04 Sorento overheated and died. Managed to get it started as the battery needed charging. Got it started took it for a quick drive around the block exhaust was normal. After drive checked oil to find very little on the dipstick. Added oil to it and when we went to drive it it started billowing out white smoke and now it wont start. Oil looks normal no indication of coolant getting in with it. Spark plugs have never been changed in it is it possible a failed spark plug could be causing one of the cylinders not to work properly therefor alllowing oil to bypass causing this smoke or could it be something else? As i said after charging it there was no white exhaust but after adding oil there was.
