My engine dies when idling but will also die when coasting. If I give it some gas, it will restart. Replaced the camshaft sensor but this didn't solve it. Took it to the dealer. They said it needed a new throttle body to the tune of $1,250.00. The code that comes up is P0320 - ignition/distributor input speed circuit. Do you have any idea what it really needs.

I don't think the problem is caused by the throttle body and if you try the salvage yards, the part should cost a fraction of what the dealer is quoting if replacement is necessary.

The troube code is for the part shown in diagram. Check its connector for looseness and water or oil contamanitions. Since problem is intermnttent, it could possibly be a loose wire conector.
