Steering is extremely light on right turn travel only( very very light touch takes you across the road). Also the rack is very noisey from time to time, when turning steering wheel. Will a 2002 rack fit a 2004 20lt derv car?

your rack is probably going bad or one of the valves that operate it. I don't know if the earlier model will fit the newer emodel. You would have to measure it up.
