my G35 infinity has been shaking, since i got my brakes changed it has been giving me problems. When driving it if i let go of the gas peddle it starts slowing down and will eventually come to a complete stop. The car has a rubbery smell when this happens
when shaky if i kick the tire the shaking stops
if i let go of the gas peddle the car slows down till it comes to a complete stop

Check to make sure the wheels are tight. Check to make sure the calipers aren't sticking... Does it shake when you use the brakes?

New brake pads have been installed and the rubbery smell coming front the wheels has been eliminated. The shaking still persists but not as frequently. Now, the shaking also happens when breaking. In addition, the front wheels have been balanced.

Something tells me the rotors or wheel isn't properly mounted. Do you feel certain it is from the wheel area?

I remounted the wheels but the shaking after 60 mph and when braking from that speed still occurs. The car is fine when Im driving in the city. The reason I believe it is the front driver side wheel is because after 60 mph a continuous "thump" sound (as if i had a flat tire) begins. The steering wheel shakes as well as the gas pedal. I pull over and kick the wheel and the shaking and "thump" sound stops temporarily.
