vibration in my car

Hi , I feel a vibration in steering wheel while stationary. the gearbox is automatic .Mechanic has checked the engine mounts they are fine , I have changed the spark plugs . but I feel vibration yet. what can I DO?

yes and when it is in N OR D I feel vibration

does the engine run smooth when driving? does it lack any power?

no it's just two month I've felt the vibration , I've got the car since the year before.

you should get a compression test done to make sure all cylinders are equal in pressure. any low cylinder will show in the idle roughness if that is cause.

remove spark plugs. insert tester in each hole 1 at a time and crank engine over a few turns. compare readings. highest and lowest should read within 10 lbs of each other.

hi again , The mechanic pushed the accelerator so that the Rpm went higher the red line , don't you think that he might damage the engine?

if you could definately associate that vibration happened right after over rev it might be true but generally speaking that should not have caused any damage if just a quick spike over redline.
