Hi, my name is Hau and I own a 2004 Honda Accord ex-l v6. I treasure the car with everything i have and once in awhile i did some high speed launch with it, but i think i did it in the wrong way and worried if i've done any damage to the engine, especially the transmission. Here is how i used to launch the car: At red light, my car stopped and i putted the gear all the way down to number 1. I didn't rev the engine or anything, just sit still and when the light turned green, i pushed the pedal hard, all the way down, and the car just rev loud but started very slow. Will this do any harm? Thank you

if the transmission wasn't slipping and all you heard was revving and not moving then have a trans guy look at it as it may be slipping or needing a rebuild.if you can put it in 1 and take off normal then you should be ok.
